PDCAのサイクルは品質管理のモデルを超えて現在では様々な分野で展開利用されています。オーバルプランが手がける健康や美容カウンセリングでも、PDCAを活用したプロセスモデルをベースにシステムアーキテクチャを設計しています。 PDCAサイクルモデルの中でもシステムが支援提供できる機能は［Act］が最も大きく、［Check］で取得した各種センサーからのデータを解析し、次のPDCAへとつなぐためのアドバイスを提供できるからです。 そのアドバイスでは、多種多様なセンシングデータ間の複雑な関係性と時系列の継続的なビッグデータを解析し、利用者にとって有益な情報として提供するためのデータビジュアライズデザインが重要となると考えております。

PDCA is a so-called “cycle process management model” which is widely used in the field of quality control. This PDCA model is also useful in health and beauty counseling services and we based our system architecture design on this cycle. We discovered the “Act-part” is most important because in this part you can produce proper advice from the data you get in the “Check-part”. As for interface design our biggest challenge was to create effective visual images for the advices capable of telling users meaningful information.
